Amanda "Mae" Davis, 90, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Imboden Creek Living Center. Mae was born August 20, 1927, in Macon, IL to Robert Lee and Ella Mae (Lane) Larimore. She married Ralph E. Davis in 1945. She was a 4-H leader and a member of Homemakers Extension. Mae loved bowling, dancing, volunteering and she was a master seamstress. Mae is survived by her five children, Darrel (Debbie) Davis of Windsor, Karolyn (Kenny) Mastin of Oklahoma, Joan (Terry Robinson) Davis of Decatur, Rose (Mike) Mulligan of Oreana and Darlene Jent of Shelbyville; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters. The family would like to thank the staff of Imboden Creek Living Center for their exceptional care and compassion. Graveside services to celebrate the life of Amanda "Mae" Davis will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
