Bobby Hoover, 66, of St. Elmo, previously of the Cowden and Brownstown areas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Aperion Care in St. Elmo. He was born October 27, 1950 the son of Vernon and Betty (Morris) Hoover. He married Pamela Pasley and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2003. Bobby spent many years working for Kelly Construction in Decatur. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, fishing and hunting, as he loved the outdoors. Surviving are his mother Betty of Shelbyville, children Levi Hoover of Cowden, Becki (Nathan) Dagen of Brownstown, Andrea (Tonya) Hoover of Springfield, Lonnie Bly of Shelbyville and Aaron Tucker of ME, grandchildren Kyle Hardimon, Chandler Dagen, Collin Dagen, Lexi, Lanna, and Lane Hoover, Ciara Miller, Cody, Dalton and Gatlin Bly. Bobby was preceded in death by his father Vernon, wife Pam, two brothers and one sister. Private family services were held at the Hubbartt Cemetery.
