Bradley "Brad" E. Wallis, 38, of Cowden, Il. died Wednesday afternoon (January 31, 2018) in Palmyra, Il.
He was born September 13, 1979 in Litchfield, Il. son of Michael and Selina Wyatt Martin.
He married Samantha Hornbeck on October 27, 2001 in Brownstown, Il. and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Callie Wallis and Bradley E. Wallis Jr. both of Cowden, Il.; his parents of Ramsey, Il; his sister, Jessica Wyatt of Ramsey, Il.; his mother-in-law, Linda Mentzer of Herrick, Il.; a father-in-law, Frank Hornbeck of Vandalia, Il.; three nieces, McKayla Maness of Findlay, Il., Jocelyn Thompson of Indiana, Jewellianna Wyatt of Vandalia, Il.; three nephews, Justin, Dalton, and Ryan Maness of Shelbyville, Il.; three aunts, Velina Holmes of Jerseyville, Il., Georgia Wease of Springfield, Il., and Laura Mae Becker of Modesto, Il.; two uncles, Robert Wyatt of Jerseyville, Il., and Thomas Wyatt of Palmyra, Il.; and a sister-in-law, Melissa Maness of Shelbyville, Il.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cindy Wyatt Herring and William Robert Wyatt; paternal grandparents, Joyce and Vernon Martin.
He was co-owner of Conway and Wallis Wood Products in Cowden, Il. He loved woodworking, hunting with crossbow and fishing and an avid outdoorsman. He also loved to draw and sketch.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday (February 7, 2018) at the Herreck Baptist Church in Harreck, Il. Burial will be held privately. Visitation will be at the church from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife Samantha Wallis c/o Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
