Harry L Bricker


Harry L. Bricker, 71, of Sullivan, passed away at 6:43p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo surrounded by his loved ones. Harry was born May 8, 1947 in Decatur, the son of Howard Lee and Juanita (Hazelrigg) Bricker. Harry married Marcia Wilber Grobengieser on April 24, 1978 in Mt. Zion. Harry was an Army veteran that served in the Vietnam War on an air base as a firefighter. Harry worked 21 years at Tate & Lyle (AKA Staley Mfg) in Decatur and retired from Agri-Fab Lawn Care Mfg in Sullivan. He enjoyed watching The Price is Right, The Young & Restless, and old western television shows. He also was a collector of key ring memorabilia. Surviving are his wife Marcia of Sullivan, sons Steven (Audra) Bricker of Mt. Zion & Michael Bricker of Texas, daughters Noelle (Joe) Cohan of Bethany, Michelle Bricker of Sullivan & Nichelle Johnson of Irving, Texas, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Arthur and Howard "Herb". There will be no services or visitation, with private family burial at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Sullivan Fire and Ambulance Service.
